I remember the incident well. I spent the day with Parcell at the southern ECP in Barwanah the day before she was killed. She was a great person and everyone took a liking to her. One of my closest friends was there when she was hit, and he was at least able to comfort her before she passed. I know it means little, but at least she was in a fellow Marine's arms when she did. I was actually attached with your unit, 2/3 back in Jan-Feb 07 as part of the Lioness program. I was with, I believe, Echo Company in Haditha at the time.
